Model - Jagdpanzer IV L/70 Late Production - Sd.Kfz.162/1 - The Jagdpanzer IV L/70 (V) was one of two variants armed with the same PaK 42 L/70 gun. The (V) stands for the designer, Vomag. This was the most produced version with almost 950 built from August 1944-April 1945. The gun could outrange many opposing Allied tank weapons. It was also called the "Lang" ("long" in German) in order to distinguish it from its predecessor (Sd.Kfz.162) with a shorter L/48 75mm gun. The Sd.Kfz.162 version (1944) had a 75mm L/48 canon and the Sd.Kfz. 162/1 version (1944-45) had a 75 mm L/70 canon.
Condition - New with minor wear on box. Plastic box is covered in foam sleeve.
