    Description

    1857 Half Cent PCGS PR-65 RB
    266 reportedly minted but many remained unsold at the Mint and were subsequently melted. This is a lovely example with a very flashy, nearly full red obverse. The reverse is equally impressive with nearly flawless light reddish-brown surfaces. Both sides are extremely well struck with nice mirrored proof fields.
