14K GOLD LAPIS LAZULI VINTAGE ESTATE RING 6.8 grams

Description

This auction is for a very pretty vintage estate 14k gold lapis lazuli ring from a Southern California Estate Sale that had many fine vintage and antique pieces of jewelry.  The ring is a size 7 3/4, marked 14K.  The weight is 6.8 grams.
The estate directory described this ring as "Bold and elegant 14k yellow gold ring with raised setting securing a square cut fine grained lapis lazuli natural stone with a smooth, highly polished surface." The elevated gold design reaches up to hold the lapis stone which measures 5/8 inches across.
This was a difficult ring to get a good picture of because of the deep lapis color and polished finish so I included many pictures; hopefully you can see all sides of the ring design clearly. Please keep in mind that this is older jewelry and not in new condition.
